O’Shan D. Gadsden is not your average intellectual or applied psychologist, not in the least bit.

He is a psycho-culturally-spiritually focused public scholar, who combines his love of intersectional politics, sexual and emotional intimacy, and spirituality into scholarly, clinical,  social media and critical essay content that educates, motivates, and promotes holistic healing.

O’Shan has developed a unique psycho-spiritual voice, assisting individuals of diverse backgrounds in identifying and working through unresolved issues impacting their integrity,  creativity,  and relational capacity. A veteran speaker (in both secular, educational, and religious/spiritual contexts) with over 20 years of experience, he has delivered lectures and presentations nationwide, working to assist individuals tap into their authentic selves and power, and make informed decisions regarding their life and relational choices.  

It is O’Shan’s goal to reach the masses to engage in real, raw and unapologetic conversations about the relationship between gender socialization, trauma, religion/spirituality, and emotional capacity. Over the course of his career, he has trained both doctoral and master level students/clinicians, taught at such prestigious universities like Morehouse College and Seton Hall University, provided clinical services in diverse clinical settings, and published several articles and book chapters. He is currently working on his first book manuscript entitled, “Going further than our fathers:  And other essays on loving and living--- in consciousness for men of color.”
